Year 2012 is an important year for the people in the olive oil and “Slow Food” industry, as “SALONE DEL GUSTO” is scheduled in October. For this important event, OSAJ is now organizing TOUR for participating SALONE and also, various programs are packaged in this tour. We, the Olive Oil Sommelier Association of Japan (OSAJ) are pleased to annouce our new opening English language website. Please kindly note our Association is completely dual language entity and for almost all of our activities we can provide both Japanese and English language services; however, the most of our educational programs including OLIVE OIL SOMMELIER SCHOOL are offered only in Japanese language.     

An Australian well-known industrial Journal “OLIVE GROWER & PROCESSOR”  introduced numbers of entries from Australia and New Zealand won Awards at OLIVE JAPAN 2012.    The OLIVE JAPAN 2012 International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition was the first International EVOO Competition  held in April 2012 in Tokyo.  Australian and New Zealand products won total 10 medals of 96 winners, which was really successful for Australian and New Zealand growers, said by OGP Journal.
